My violin and I

It's all the little things that does it

The beginning of a holiday
The end of a term

The purchase of a Christmas gift that needs some love and care
Only because it will be given to someone I care about

Knowledge that tonight will be amazing
To party with friends, how can that be wrong?

And most importantly...
There are only three days until Christmas!

Two words of the day

Thinking about it... The things you get the most use of as a girl are your brain and your boobs, with good looks and a bright brain you can go anywhere and do whatever you like (nearly). So what's up with us being so obsessed about fat? The brain and bosom are made out of it!
Yeah, find the answer to that.

Anyhow, I have the two words for the day found in my beloved dictionary Mr.Longman:

nim*rod : n, AmE informal, an insulting word for someone who is stupid or not good at doing something

nim*com*poop : n, oldfashioned, a stupid person

Mr.Longman knows everything there is to know about the English language and I cannot deny that I simply adore him!
Oh, now it's just to go back to reading Frankenstein again. Bloody good book!

Devon

A dream about Devon and the bloodred leafs in autumn.

When what should be on my head is psychology and Seligman with his theory.

I miss you.

The Dragonfly

Once there was a land far far away
The journey would take more than just a day
Reason why was the water mass
To big for any lass
To cross
Without vital loss
A man would need a year to the distance cover
So would anyone even bother?

Far far away from the land
Lived a girl who couldn't see the sand
Where she lived at her place
Snow was filling every space

Apart from this very odd thing
She could sing
Her songs were filled with heat
And they had a certain beat
The beat in her song
Had not existed for very long

During a period that had been warm
The snow had been gone to show every corm
Then she had met a lovely boy
With him there was no ploy
Only laughter and pure joy
Under the skies of a Dragonfly's wing
That's where she had begun to sing

He was the reason for her song
There was no way in which that could be wrong
But he lived in the land mentioned above
Far far away from her love

So every night she would chant
Without being even the slightest bit rant
In hope he could hear
Her singing in his ear
For once again they would meet
History would be written on a blank sheet

She knew she could cross the line
Their bodies would entwine
Together they would mend into one
Separate the two of them could none

Under the eye of a shimmering dragon
Riding in a wagon
High up in the air
The view was fair
A starry night
With a late flight
It was again as it should be
They could eachother see

The other pair of eyes
Gave no room for any lies
But a thank you to summer's embrace ever so mild
Which lead the two to into a dance this wild
That they would cross water and land
Only to once again hold the other's hand

All thanks to the magnificent Dragonfly

Sugarpuffcat

Sometimes (most of the times) I love being a catsitter! Seriously, here she is the little fluffdoll, a white puff of fur like sugar. Our own little sugarpuff!
Spotify on and I'm playing games on a stupid webpage my friend showed me a few weeks ago. The average age is around... 12? I feel a bit too old... But who cares? I'm having so much fun when I'm at it! Powaaaaaaa to the people!!

Do you have any silly webpage you always hang out at even though you know you should have stopped a few years ago? Don't be shy, if you tell me I'll tell you what my page (of sins) is called!

Oh, and fellas! You know, you know this so well! And if you have not yet come to realise it I will hereby pronounce it:
There are only, ONLY!, 5 days until Christmas!

Oh! Christmas with stockings, gifts, food, family, candy, snow, Santa, "Love Actually" (yes I simply do adore that movie), "Nightmare Before Christmas" (if you somehow have managed to miss this wonderful film I suggest you feel ashamed and run off to the nearest shop and buy or rent it, NOW!), gingerbreads, skiing, holiday, mistletoe.... Mmm there are just too many things about Christmas that I value. This Christmas will be a bit different from my ordinary celebrations. I will be out nearly every second night, savage! I have plans... and I tend to stick to my plans unless something better comes up!

What do you prefer about Christmas?

French, boooyah!

Languages... What a tricky thing? First you learn a few words such as: hungry, thirsty, sleep, I love you, poo and fuck. Then some teacher decided "How are you?", "Where do you come from?" and "My name is..." are the best and most useful sentences ever! Suddently you've passed the playful parts and the nouns, verbs, adjectives, adverbs, infinitives and so on and so on comes flying attacking you before you've even realised where they came from. They're biting, hitting, pulling and kicking you until you lie grasping for air on the floor.
But in the end... To know a language is so giving!

To the bragging part directly... I just finished a 1,5 A4 long essay all in french. People! This was all thanks to my endless french lessons. I'm so proud! Sure you'll say that you probably could have done something better... But I'm still really proud of myself. Yeah, be amazed teacher!
And now... Week's over, let's all rejoice!
Partaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay!!

A quite good ending to a less good day

Cosyfactor on top with a soft hoodie from Peacocks, England, covered in monkeys, cherries and cupcakes while listening to Wyclef Jean on Spotify :)
Started writing my essay about Marie Antoinette in french. Folks, french is a really difficult language but man is it fun when you solve how to make those sentences!
Anyhow, the 8th of December will soon become the 9th of December and I need a few hours of sleep, night!

Sitting with my English book trying to sum up all the grammar we've been taught through the last half year and I've realised something... This is so hard! But at least I have the beautiful pictures B sent me last night of us from when I was in England.

Freedom

Guess where I was?

An amazing place with wonderful, magical and absolutely adorable company. Dressed in a red coat fighting the wind I climbed, in a black knitted jumper he moved. We smiled, laughed and my cheeks turned pink. His granddad in his brown manchester trousers smiled as he watched us jumping around. The freedom. Freedom is a valuable feeling, perhaps the most precious. Fight for freedom, defend it with every bit of yourself. Because without it... You can't be you.

1st of December

This day truly is a treat, I got to open number one in my chocolate calendar that my best friend's mum gave me (thank you thank you thank you!) and my sister got to open number one in our calendar, the Disney one that we got from our older sister.
It's 23 days left to Christmas, the countdown is on. 23 DAYS!

Christmas feelings started flooding about a week ago already when we started the yearly Christmas baking (which I was very grateful for today when I got to come home to a bunch of cookies and a big cup of tea, puuuuurfect!) but today it has truly escalated! Christmas songs all day, chocolate calendar, first episode of the Christmascalendar on TV and my purchases on the best thing page ever has been confirmed so I'm eagerly waiting for them to arrive. I'm so looking forward to wrap them and give them away, giving is one of the best things about Christmas! They're (Coolstuff) superb at sending things fast so I'm expecting it later on this week.
Christmas here we come, and I love it!
