Feed the fishes
Found these totally adoreable little fishes at rosettflickans blog and I can't help loving it! Just had to have my own litte aquarium.

Pippi Långstrump (Longstocking)
Happy Birthday Pippi Longstocking!
She was my rolemodel when I was younger, this strong, individualist with a great sense of humor. Today she still holds a special place in my heart, the 65-yearold girl with red braids and long socks. Is there anyone who can be cooler than her? Do you remember when they showed "Pippi in the candystore"? Who wouldn't want to be in that shop eating of all the sweets she bought? If I ever open a candystore, I want it to be something like that one defo!!!
Astrid Lindgren, thank you for spreading the stories about her adventures and witty sayings. She truly made my childhood even better than it was :)

Music when waiting for dinner
Wiiiiiiiiiiiiiie scanning the last page for Emma. Soon soon soon I'll have a well deserved break from studying to have some dinner. But first... She's so lovely!

And all that's on my head is sleep zzzz...
I was very aware of that I was acting terribly stupid last night but didn't fully understand until I looked at the clock as I was crawling into bed, 1.30! And I started school this morning at 8 o'clock with a speech in Swedish as the very first thing. How could I be so stupid? History was interesting but the moment I stoped taking notes since it wasn't important I completely blacked out. I fell asleep! My friend had to wake me up... I don't know how many times! Then before psychology we thought it was a good opportunity to take a break and have a nap before starting. Without realising we were late we slept until maybe 13.25. Our lesson started at 13.10. Wooooo, I've had such an energetic day today!!! Hell yeah!
Now it's just Napoleon and history... Good thing is though, the sofa in school is very very very VERY comfortable and perfect for naps :)

This is the picture I used for my speech, borrowed from ~ang3llor3.

The Beatles
Just back home from a lovely concert dedicated to the Beatles. We (my orchestra and I) played "Back to the USSR" and "Let it be". But there were so many great young musicians playing tonight, a perfect ending to a good day!

Peace out!

6 days folks
Today it's exactly 6 days until I can open the first thing in my Christmas calendar!
Did I mention I have a really good feeling about this year? I think it's going to be absolutely class, think I'll try to watch every episode.

Irregular Choice
Sorry, yesterday was hell so I didn't have any energy to put up anything here. Sorry! Well... To make up for lost times, here are some good news! My elder sister just told me about this AMAZING brand, Irregular Choice and I've been looking through everything on their page. After spending quite a good bit of time there (they have so cute things, everything's pretty! (oh well, nearly everything)) I've come up with somethings that I just have to put on my wishlist:

What you think? Which ones would you prefer? Something else from their accessories?
I haven't been able to pick out which ones of the shoes I prefer yet. There are so many shoes, and they're all (nearly) really colourful, creative and odd. What's not to love about them, except for their prices maybe...?

Moodswings...
Morning with the light reflecting into the room because of the snow starts softly and in a good cosy mood. A walk round the lake makes the day even better but moodswings are something of a specialty I have. But a bit of Black Eyes Peas cheered me right back up. Black Eyed Peas, you saved my afternoon right now, cheers :)

Snowshoveling, Christmasbaking and Christmas carols... Did I hear November?
Really I don't know where to begin!
Yesterday night was amazing! First I went to "Rosa Huset" that was filled with enchanting art, then I saw Razzle with their act of improvisation theatre, after Razzle I went up up up to the top of the building to the studio where Alma and I made our collage (might get a pic of it later but I'm not sure...) and then the main event... SARA BOGALE! She's is soooo amazing great! So proud to say that she's my friend. I seriously think she will become a big name. She is absolutely class. If you haven't had the pleasure to hear her live, check out her Myspace. Ya I just put up two links to her page but hey, don't miss out on it!

Then a visit to the cafébus to get some free cookies and limonade (I really can't drink coffee it's so bitter, and no it surely doens't helo with milk. Don't think anything can cover up that scary bitter taste, it's supposed to be tea!) before the last happening for the evening and the scariest... Ghoststories with Flemming wooooo!
So yes, last night was amazing and finishing with talking to Ben was good. He sounded a bit jealous of our Kulturnatt but I can totally understand him. It was one of the best things. With all the snow that's still on the ground and the lights which they have put up all over town everything was touched and magically turned into something beautiful.
Oh, I think that should sum up yesterday perfectly. So let's move onto a shorter sum up of today because it has been a lot of fun!
Snow was still on the ground this morning and since the family had decided on starting the Christmasbaking I said I would shovel some snow. Always smart to try to get mam into a good mood as soon as possible in the morning and if I can as I get some fresh air and sunlight (gets dark at fecken half four by now!) then I say: "Yes mam, I'll do it!".
So snowshoveling, baking Lucia cats (that's the translation I got but I doubt that's the right word because... it just sounds so weird!) and then going over to my brother's place to say hi to the white fluff cat of his. She's just adoreable, little Lisa!
Well here's what I really liked about today... When a snow-white cat with the softest long fur ever puts her little paw on your foot and falls asleep with her head snuggled into your leg... Then you can't help feel the warm feeling called love swell in your chest!
What did you like about today?

Kulturnatt = A night filled with culture
With Lily Allen singing in the background from Spotify, cold cheeks, a duvet of snow covering the hard ground outside and the knowledge that tonight is going to be absolutely class... how could I possibly even think about avoiding to not feel great? I'm so happy!!!

Decided I will do something controversial... I'm going to make sure that everytime I write here it will contain something positive about the day! Just hate it when I read something that gets me down so why not try to type fun, good, cute, happy, pretty, lovely, amusing, interesting... you name it! things? I'm gonna give it a shot.
So... Today I realised that they've put up new mirrors all over school. It looks so fresh and clean! Creds to whoever it was that thought of that brilliant idea :)
Now I have to go and make myself a sandwich, hopefully I'll have energy to write about tonight later on when I come back. Happy out!

Sometimes, I wish I could foretell the future
After working until 00.00 last night I went up at 4.47 something to continue with the presentation in psychology only to find out when it's done around 10 that we'll get to move it until next Thursday. Guess who regrets she missed a night's sleep? I do! And on top of that, since I had to do the presentation and I'll tell you that I'm completely wrecked I didn't go to history and physics. Hallelujah. I'm off to bed now, yes. No way I'm gonna stay up now. Throw a bag of horsepoo on whoever it was that made psychology a subject, please!

Dave Elman, the one I've been writing about for several hours... What a handsome man!

The kissing disease
Seriously, I can't take all this about hypnosis and psychology right now. And the damn physics that needs to be done. I think I would prefer shooting myself. Ah let's have a look at the kissing disease!
Serisouly, I just love it! Do you have one yet? If you don't, go onto this page and order your own little Giant Microbe!

Salem al Fakir knows how to tell you
I keep forgetting you but every now and then you pop up like an evil version of a jack in the box. Curse you, you piece of rusty-metal-scrap-good-for-nothing! Get out of my life, "pleeeeeeeease", once and for all so I can fully move on. You don't know who you are, but all of my friends do.
Soon you will be completely wiped out of my life. Until then, this is the song that describes it all the best. Salem, you are the king!

Candy = Quality street
Guess what? I'm having... Quality street!!! And now I'm just so full of candy and chocolate that if I stood up and fell over I would start rolling round and round until someone stopped me. But ah, who cares? Chocolate is chocolate and candy is goooooooooooooood. To be honest I've just tried out all of them (nearly all) and the blue on, Coconut Eclair, is my favourite. Do you have a favourite?

Stonehenge
Just got another bunch of photos from B. This time it was from when we visited Stonehenge!
For all you who don't know, Stonehenge is a massive old ruin made out of big blocks of rock stuck down into the ground. No one knows for sure what it was made for, what happened there or what it was used for but the theories are many. Walking around there seeing the impressive rocks as I was listening to the audioguide (in Swedish folks!) I was moved. Did you know for example that only two thirds of the blocks are above ground? That on top of the vertical rocks there are little blobs sticking up that the men who made it carved out in order to fit the holes they made in the horizontal blocks perfectly and make sure the horizontal blocks stayed in the right place? On top of this, when was it made? Around 3000 B.C!
I mean... We have a though time building things like this in our time and we have machines that can lift and move stuff around. They had to use smart constructions they managed to build, lumber to move (roll) the rocks and just pure muscle power. Ancestors, you did an amazing job!

First Lego Leauge
Well I must admit I should have put up something yesterday.. But to be honest, I had no time! Left really super early in the morning to go into town, was judging in the local final in First Lego Leauge! What an experience! I just can't help but being a total robot nerd. It's impossible to resist or deny, it's just a part of who I am since 7(?) years. But I love it! If you're interested have a look at this page:
Unfortunately it's all in norweigan.
When that was done (did I mention it was class!!!) I met up with a friend and that ended up with us going out and I got home around... 4.30 in the morning. So sorry I didn't add anything about my absolutely great day as a judge yesterday but I simply had no energy this morning when I came back.

Ewwww wish I hadn't woken up
I hate mornings like this, when everything seems grey, dull and just terribly horrible. But what can I do about it? Just crawl back into bed and wish I had never woken up. Heat up a ricebag to put on my aching belly. And have a look at the most beautiful kettles in the whole world. Green kettles covered in dragons. Yes, the thought of dragonkettles always make the day that tiny bit better.
Anyone who can guess what I have on my wishlist for Christmas?

Vegan chocolate cake recipe
I just spent nine lovely days in England! One of the best things about the trip was the recipe I got for this chocolate cake. And it's not just any chocolate cake, it's a VEGAN chocolate cake. Even if you are not vegan I can assure you that this cake tastes absolutely lovely so go on, try it!

Step 1: Ingredients
- 1 1/4 cups flour
- 1 cup sugar
- 1/3 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1 tsp baking soda
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1 cup warm water
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1/3 cup vegetable oil
- 1 tsp distilled white or apple cider vinegar
Step 2: Mix
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F (=180 degrees C.). In an 8X8 square pan/dish, mix together: flour, sugar, cocoa, baking soda, and salt with a fork, making sure it is really blended together.
Add the water, vanilla, oil, and vinegar, and again, mix together so that it's really blended together. Use a spatula to scrape down the sides if necessary.
Step 3: Bake!
Place in oven and bake for about 30 minutes, or until a knife comes out clean. Cool on a rack completely (2 hours). Enjoy :)
Thank you so much B for this recipie! About the picture, since none of us who were going to eat the cake we melted white chocolate to cover it and decorated with little chocolate eggs. There can never be too much chocolate...

A vulnerable day
- To B -
I miss your touch. I miss your smell. I miss the expression in your eyes when you look at me after a few hours in bed. I miss your guilty smile when you eat another cookie. I miss the way you always manage to snuggle up to me no matter place or time. I miss getting woken up by your movements. I miss having your strong hands massaging my shoulders and back. I miss feeling you shiver as I scratch your back. I miss constantly holding your hand. I miss experiencing days with you. I miss pointing things out for you and getting other things pointed out for me by you. I miss being with you. But I feel so happy! Because you've given me a chance to be with you. A chance to get to know you. A chance to experience a piece of the world with you. Because you have, I know what I miss about it. What I miss about you. That I miss you.
And that makes me smile happily. A smile because you're making me feel beautiful things.
I miss the way we sleep together all tangled and messed up. I miss not being able to tell where I end and you begin. I miss when you hug me as if you'd never let go. I miss hearing you burst out into laughter. I miss the taste of your kiss. I miss lying listening to your voice completely unable to focus on what you're saying mesmerized by how your lips move. I miss loosing all sense of time with you, because of you. I've realised it wasnt' just coincidence we spent six hours in your tent, because I'd be more than thrilled to do it again! Six hours isn't enough though. Nine days weren't enough. They only left me wanting, no craving, to spend more time with you doing all the things I miss doing with you. All the things we have done together. All the things we haven't done. You might have understood by now that I miss you like I said earlier. But I'm not unhappy I do. I'm happy I have someone like you to miss.
I'm happy I have someone like you to crave for. Someone like you to care about. Someone like you to have affection for. Someone like you. No. I'm happy I have YOU and no one else to share thoughts, ideas, memories and feelings with. Since I really like it I'm going to try to sum these three texts up now since you're probably tired if reading:You mean the world to me, and I feel like I'm the luckiest person in the world because I'm able to say that!
