Stonehenge

Just got another bunch of photos from B. This time it was from when we visited Stonehenge!
For all you who don't know, Stonehenge is a massive old ruin made out of big blocks of rock stuck down into the ground. No one knows for sure what it was made for, what happened there or what it was used for but the theories are many. Walking around there seeing the impressive rocks as I was listening to the audioguide (in Swedish folks!) I was moved. Did you know for example that only two thirds of the blocks are above ground? That on top of the vertical rocks there are little blobs sticking up that the men who made it carved out in order to fit the holes they made in the horizontal blocks perfectly and make sure the horizontal blocks stayed in the right place? On top of this, when was it made? Around 3000 B.C!
I mean... We have a though time building things like this in our time and we have machines that can lift and move stuff around. They had to use smart constructions they managed to build, lumber to move (roll) the rocks and just pure muscle power. Ancestors, you did an amazing job!
